Open since 1994, Oaken barrel is a brewpub - a combination restaurant and brewery. The restaurant includes a family section, two bars, the outside dining area, and a small banquet facility. Brewmaster Brook Belli's award-winning gourmet ales and lagers complement Oaken Barrel's Noveau-American menu which boasts a variety of salads, sandwiches, and entrees. Favorites include Mesquite-Smoked Ribs, Shepherd's Pie, Pot Roast, and Cajun Jambalaya Pasta.

In a recent issue of Indianapolis Monthly, Oaken Barrel recieved the critics choice award for "Best Brewpub in Indy". The chefs take pride in the quality and creativity of their specials. Ask about the daily grill, pizza, pasta, fish, and dessert specials on your next visit.

Oaken Barrel's brewpub is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. It is located on Main Street in Greenwood in Vista Village by One Liners Comedy Club. Prices range from $5 to $8 for lunch, and $7 to $15 for dinners.
